The New Jersey Hall of Fame (NJHOF) has been named a finalist in the Edutainment category of PR Daily’s 2025 Social Media & Digital Awards for its digital promotion of the 16th Annual Induction Ceremony.

The Edutainment category honors digital and social media excellence in content that blends education and entertainment to meaningfully engage an audience. NJHOF’s nomination also recognizes the organization’s achievement of garnering more than 2 million views on social media for the 2024 ceremony.

The 16th Annual Induction Ceremony honored 21 New Jerseyans, including Meryl Streep, Paul Rudd, and Phil Simms, and featured exclusive content filmed at the new NJHOF at American Dream. Hosted by Danny DeVito, the program premiered on social media and broadcast on My9 and NJ PBS, offering an evening of Jersey pride and inspiration.

In addition to well-known icons, the program celebrated heroes who are making a difference in their local communities through the Unsung Heroes category and recognized student recipients of the NJHOF’s Areté scholarship.

To continue discovering Garden State heroes, visit the NJHOF’s permanent home at American Dream in East Rutherford. This 10,000-square-foot center combines entertainment with education to showcase the best of New Jersey.

The final winners will be announced during PR Daily’s Awards Luncheon at The Yale Club in New York City on Thursday, September 25.
