ADP Grant Expands Program Possibilities by Funding Six Awards in 2026
October 2, 2025 – The New Jersey Hall of Fame is proud to announce the renewal of the Areté Scholarship Fund. This year, thanks to a generous grant from ADP, NJHOF is able to increase both the number of recipients and the scholarship amount, ensuring even greater support for outstanding New Jersey high school seniors graduating in 2026. Students interested in applying for the 2026 Areté Scholarship should visit NJHOFScholarships.com for more information.
For more than 3,000 years, the ancient Greek concept of Areté has inspired individuals to pursue goodness and excellence and be the best possible version of themselves. Today, the New Jersey Hall of Fame at American Dream celebrates the extraordinary achievements of Garden State citizens and encourages NJ residents and visitors to pursue their highest aspirations.
“The Areté Scholarship is fundamental to our mission of educating and inspiring the next generation of creative, community-minded citizens,” said NJ Hall of Fame President Steve Edwards. “We know these students will grow to achieve amazing things, and these educational grants lay the groundwork for their futures.”
Successful applicants will embody the spirit of Areté, a sense of Jersey pride, and a willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty. They will distinguish themselves as New Jerseyans on their way to realizing their dreams by demonstrating academic engagement, moral character, and a commitment to their community.
Scholarship applications and all supporting documentation, including one academic transcript and two letters of recommendation, must be submitted between October 1, 2025 – March 1, 2026 to be considered. Successful Areté Scholarship applicants will be notified by May 1, 2026. Questions and confidential letters of recommendation should be sent to arete@njhalloffame.org.
