East Rutherford, NJ, April 15, 2026 – New Jerseyans now have the chance to vote for their heroes, as the New Jersey Hall of Fame (NJHOF) unveils 60 nominees for the Class of 2026. These nominees span six prestigious categories: Arts & Letters; Education, Research, Engineering & Science; Enterprise; Performing Arts & Entertainment; Public Service; and Sports.
The public is invited to vote through May 5, 2026, at VoteHallofFame.com.
“We are honored to present a slate of nominees who reflect the ingenuity and grit of the Garden State,” said Jon F. Hanson, Chairman of the NJ Hall of Fame. “As we open public voting for the Class of 2026, we invite all New Jerseyans to join us in celebrating these extraordinary individuals, whose achievements continue to inspire the world.”
The final inductees will be announced in June, and the 18th Annual New Jersey Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place in the fall. Details will be released at a later date.

Because everyone needs a hero, the New Jersey Hall of Fame (NJHOF) honors citizens who have made invaluable contributions to society, the State of New Jersey and the world beyond. Since 2008, the NJHOF has hosted 17 ceremonies for over 260 notable individuals and groups in recognition of their induction into the Hall of Fame.
